Use the RYOBI 8 Dot Infrared Thermometer to safely measure the surface temperature of objects without touching them. Its temperature readings can help you find what's causing climate control issues at home, such as a faulty appliance or window that hasn't been sealed properly. Identify hot and cold spots near windows, doors, air vents, walls, pipes, heaters and junction boxes. Auto enthusiasts can also use it for checking parts of a car that may be too hot to touch.

The Infrared Thermometer projects an 8-dot laser to indicate the surface area being measured. It has an 8:1 distance spot ratio, enabling you to measure a 1m surface area from 8m away. A wide measuring range from -50°C to 550°C can be adjusted to display temperatures in Fahrenheit too (-58°F to 1022°F).

A sound indicator confirms when the Infrared Thermometer starts to measure. The LED backlight makes it easier to see measuring results in dark environments. A 9V battery is included so you can start using it straight out of the box.
